John Writes

A few years ago I wrote in to the wingspan regarding the very satisfactory
service I got from our insurance broker Airevalley Insurance Services on the unfortunate occasion of my near fatal crash on the Goldwing.

When I bought my insurance that year (1997) I also bought "extra" cover with GOLDRIDER, on the recommendation of Airevalley Insurance.
It has turned out to be the best £25 I have ever invested.

We all talk about how cheap we can get insurance but never how good it is. I can however pass on my personal findings having been unlucky enough to test it.

I received £2500 from Goldrider for my stay in hospital; this was paid
promptly at a time when I really needed it. They then got me a very good
solicitor who pursued my claim for compensation.

The very serious nature of my injuries meant that the claim took 5 years.
along the way the solicitor ensured that I got money from the court to
obtain the best private Psychiatric help following a breakdown from Post
traumatic stress.

The managing director of Goldrider, Andre Scruton, even met me personally and remained in touch with the case until its recent conclusion when they achieved a magnificent six figure settlement for me!.

I cannot recommend the team highly enough and would urge everyone to
consider taking up this cover when they renew their insurance this year if
not before.

I would like to thank. John and Mark at Airevalley Insurance Services,  Andre Scruton of Goldrider. and finally Andrew Charuk and Pauline Buckley of Lupton Fawcett Solicitors.

My recovery is not complete and I am at present waiting to go into hospital for further surgery, but now i can afford to go private and not have to wait or submit myself to the NHS.

I am unable to work and the money will also pay to start a business that i can run easily, as well as providing me with a long term comfortable lifestyle.....All for the sake of £25 !!

Happy New Year everyone, see you on the road
John Kent
